WINE O’CLOCK WEDNESDAY: The Must Follow Washington Wineries on Twitter

Get with it and follow the Tweets from these local vino experts.

With more than 200-million consumers on Twitter, many Washington state wineries recognize the power and potential of building relationships and finding advocates in a large community of wine enthusiasts with modern-day social media. These wineries realize that Twitter can be an extension of their tasting rooms, a network of people who are interested in wine, wine-and-food pairings, wine events and wine making, you name it, Twitter’s got it.

In alphabetical order, here are 135 Washington state wineries on Twitter.  If you own a winery and would like to be added to this list, please contact Margot Sinclair Savell @writeforwine.

One Response to WINE O’CLOCK WEDNESDAY: The Must Follow Washington Wineries on Twitter

  1. Dear Margo,
I am a volunteer with the Arnold Guild that supports the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the Hutch Holiday Gala in Seattle, WA. Each year our Guild hosts a wine procurement party in support of the silent auction at the Gala. A hotel or restaurant generally sponsors the event and 10-12 wineries pour tastings. Approximately 75 people attend our event and we have set a goal of increasing our attendance to 150 or more. We ask that each guest donate a bottle of wine valued at $75 or more or donate $75 that used to purchase additional wine for the auction.

The Guild has recently implemented social media into our marketing efforts and we are currently looking to partner with professionals like you to promote our event within your blog or facebook page. In return, we would like to promote your blog and services on our “Arnold Guild” facebook page and twitter feed. We are also open to additional ideas on how we can support and promote each other.

Below are the event details. This is open to the public and anyone is welcome to attend.
