Whats Hot: St. Patty’s Day Reconstructed

Celebrate the luck of the Irish – Seattle style.

If a packed bar of rowdy Irish wannabe’s dancing the drunken jig isn’t your ideal way of celebrating St. Patricks day — than join Seattle By Foot instead and sip a few local pints and learn some little known beer lore from the Emerald City.

What: Seattle By Foot’s St. Patty’s Day Reconstructed Pub Crawl will whisk you away for three hours to some of Seattle’s best pubs and award winning eco-friendly microbreweries. This tour won’t waste time in crowded Irish pubs, instead, toast the Irish holiday by learning about the Emerald City’s beer pioneers, hear tales highlighting Seattle’s prohibition era and taste local hand-brewed samples.

Where: Meet your group at the Pike Place Market Information booth. From there, you will travel throughout the town and end your tour at The Crocodile in Belltown.

When: The St. Patty’s Day Reconstructed Pub Crawl happens on Saturday, March 17, at 4 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive 10 minute early to check-in.

How Much: Tickets are $49.95 each and must be purchased in advance. Ticket price includes beer samples, bites, party favors and prizes along the way.

Why:  Seattle by foot is the most unique walking tour the city has to offer. Explore the nooks and crannies only accessible by foot, and familiarize yourself with the sites, smells, tastes, atmosphere and culture of Seattle. Besides pub crawls, Seattle By Foot also offers coffee crawls and city tours. All tours are casual, and limited to 13 people per tour to ensure quality. Tours are conducted rain or shine. A full list of their events can be found online.
