The Radar: Hot Tub Boats

Lake Union boating at its steamiest.

Every Seattleite knows Summer in the Northwest doesn’t officially begin until after July 4th.

Break out the Otter Pops, shake the dust off that ceiling fan, and lather on the sunscreen for our guaranteed four or five days of sweltering weather.  For the rest of our Summer days, you might be more inclined to spend your evenings floating on Lake Union in the steamy embrace of your very own hot tub boat.

While the boat might not technically be ‘yours’ persay, for an enchanting two, three, or four hour time slot it might as well be as you navigate or simply float wherever you please.

Expertly crafted and designed for up to six adults, these seemingly simple yet elegant vessels provide a one-of-a-kind boating experience that combines the relaxation of a hot tub with the calm and beauty of being out on the water.  Lake Union provides the perfect backdrop to a sunset hot tub cruise–but boats can also be delivered to Lake Washington, Shilshole, and Elliott Bay among others for overnight and weekend rentals.

Hot tub boats are currently available for rental Wednesday-Sunday for any and all occasions and especially for no occasion whatsoever. But really, can you think of a better place to enjoy Seattle Summers?

About Taylor Moore

Born in Farmville, Virginia (much cooler than the Facebook game), but raised in Olympia, Taylor graduated from University of Washington with a B.A in Communications and Sociology. She’s a major foodie and loves trying new restaurants and new food, and is also passionate about traveling the globe — just like her idol, Anthony Bourdain. When she’s not writing, eating, lustfully wandering Nordstrom or J. Crew, or looking up cat videos on YouTube, you might find Taylor jet-setting around to sunnier skies whenever she gets the opportunity.
