Style File: Joseph Altuzarra for J.Crew

J.Crew classics are getting a French spin this spring.

With a capsule collection by recent CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award winner Joseph Altuzarra,  the Paris-born fashion designer has created an infectious, fun mini-collection inspired by the youthful glow of a 1960s Brigette Bardot and sunshiny summer fun in Saint-Tropez. To die for!

With luxe fabrics and super flattering prints and cuts, these exclusive pieces are sure to become a well-worn favorite. Classic Breton stripes, first worn by French sailors in the early 18th century, have been updated with little peak-a-boo cut outs and varying size to flatter any shape. The gingham button-down has a new sex-appeal with it’s waist tie.

The collection launched Thursday April 19th and will be available at select J.Crew stores and online. Check out the whole collection at J.Crew.

About Lindsay Bradley

Hi, I’m Lindsay, a former merchandising maven turned fashion obsessed style blogger. By day I teach life lessons in the second grade and by night I troll my local record store for dusty old LPs, and paw my computer in search of vintage 60s dresses and colorful hosiery. I shop Barney’s and Value Village, and everywhere in between, and pride myself on a creative mix of high and low style solutions for my modern life. I share a tiny, packed closet with my lovely husband on Capitol Hill and often find my cats snoozing in my sock drawer.
