Oola Distillery: May The Spirit Move You

This hot new distillery is bottling the smoothest new spirits in town.

At Oola Distillery, the velvety batches of gin, vodka and whiskey are not just charming and incredibly smooth — they are also created from the most eco-friendly and homegrown elements available. Kirby Kallas-Lewis, the distillery’s owner, is committed to creating the finest spirits — and exclusively using Washington State people and ingredients to fashion each batch of excellent liquor, from grain to glass.

Located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, Oola inhabits the old La Panzanella building. As guests sip and savor in the tasting room, they may catch a glimpse behind the scenes, thanks to a captivating view of the distillery.

A resident of the Hill for nearly two decades, Kallas-Lewis has studied the art and science of craft distilling for the past two years. Now comes his newest venture — a place where people can meet and connect over a glass of premium liquor in this distinctive Seattle neighborhood.

Oola will open it’s doors today, Oct. 6, with an open house from 5 to 8 p.m. Stop by for a taste of the most local and savory spirits you can get your hands on and take pleasure in knowing that every ounce is a true labor of love — hand-crafted and perfected right here in your backyard.
