Music Madness: Grouplove

This Cali pop sensation takes down the Moore, making it impossible to never trust a happy song.

When Hannah Hopper and Christian Zucconi stumbled into each other in Manhattan one evening, they knew their spirited connection would lead to something beautiful. And when Hannah mentioned that Zucconi should join her on an adventure to Greece to explore an Art Residency, fate would have it that the two would find Sean Gadd, Ryan Rabin, and Andrew Wessen on the same remote island, the perfect setting to forge a Grouplove they’d never thought possible.

Fast-foward a year, and Hopper and Zucconi made the trek to California to keep the bond in motion, and the band created their first album EP, which would lead them to a fan base from indie festivals, opening for Florence + the Machine, and a strong West Coast following. Their happy go lucky energy is contagious, and their live performance makes them one of the top must see indie bands this year. You don’t want to miss the Grouplove experience at the Moore.

When: Wednesday, September 26th, 7:30PM at the Moore Theater.

Tickets: $20 in advance here.
