SAM Remix celebrated the final days of the exhibition, Nick Cave: Meet Me at the Center of the Earth. The museum kept the festivities rockin’ until midnight with Seattle’s hottest DJ’s, dance performances, live music, and a “wearable art pavilion” where guests made their own creations with buttons, fur, recycled materials and more.

The packed party was mixin’ and minglin’ as they grooved to tunes by DJ Supreme La Rock and VIP guests enjoyed a tasty Pernod Absinthe fountain. The museum was alive with in-gallery performances by Storme Webber and contemporary dancer, Josephine Echopraxia, and the highlight of the evening was a final Soundsuit performance by Spectrum Dance Theater Company using Nick Cave’s wearable sculptures.
