Designer and actress, Yeardley Smith hosted a launch celebration event a J. Gilbert in downtown Seattle for her Fall 2011 footwear collection, Marchez Vous – an Italian made contemporary line of stylish, yet comfortable shoes.
Seattle fashionistas flocked to the boutique to greet the footwear designer. Guests were served champagne while they had the opportunity to talk to Smith about their shoe of choice. She signed each box with a personalized message, “xo Yeardley.”
Smith, who is well known as the voice of Lisa Simpson, is a veteran actress-turned footwear entrepreneur, launching her first collection this fall. Smith focused on unique fabrics and luxurious suedes and leathers to create a vibrant collection of shoes.
