Grub Alert: Bai Pai Thai Restaurant & Lounge

Neighborhood Bistro Offers Authentic Thai Cuisine.

Situated between the Ravenna and Wedgewood neighborhoods, Bai Pai Thai Restaurant & Lounge offers outstanding food and service in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a delicious date night, their extensive menu offers traditional Thai dishes as well as their own signature dishes.

An array of appetizers including Fresh Garden Rolls, Garlic String Beans, Spicy Ground Pork Larb with Roasted Crispy Rice, and Banana Shrimp Cakes. The Chicken and Lamb Satays are cooked to perfection and tender and juicy, served with peanut a dipping sauce. The Spicy Honey Wings has a crispy skin slathered in savory and sweet sauce that is worth for getting your fingers a little sticky for.

One of their signature entrees, Bai Pai Noodles, consists of spicy wide rice noodles with Thai basil, egg, bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes with your choice of chicken, tofu, or seafood. Tea Smoked Salmon is grilled and served with a coconut pineapple sam bal sauce. Rack of Lamb is moist and juicy and served with bold massaman curry sauce, red potatoes, and cashew nuts.

Happy Hour is offered in their bar and lounge on food and drinks Monday and Tuesday from 4PM – close, Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. For $4.50, try the Honey Wings, Tri Pepper Calamari, Golden Prawns, or Massaman Beef.

Lunch and dinner hours are Sunday through Thursday 11:00 am to 10:00 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am to 10:30 pm. Come in soon for a stellar and satisfying meal in a relaxed, yet elegant atmosphere with friendly service.
