Feast on some serious curb-side cuisine.
Following the recent Mobile Food Rodeo, another mobile food festival is exactly what the doctor ordered for all those in search of a good food-coma! The upcoming Mobile Chowdown will be their sixth grubfest — a major food frenzy on wheels.
On Sunday, October 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mobile Chowdown will feature 23 food trucks driving in from all over the region to the West Seattle Junction, where thousands upon thousands of hungry foodies will be patiently waiting in line and salivating over the Northwest’s most deliciously concocted meals on wheels. Did we mention that entry is free for everyone?
Get ready to drool over Maximus Minimus‘ pulled pork and veggie sandwiches, Snout & Co.’s Cuban soulful cooking and Pai’s Thai and Hawaiian fusion cuisine. If sinful sweets are calling your name, then build your own ice cream cookie sandwich at Sweet Treats, or taste an assortment of organic ice cream and homemade cones from Parfait Ice Cream.
This curbside food extravaganza is rolling out the big guns, so be sure to come with an empty belly and some loose fitting pants.
