One character, one line and one prop — and the endless possibilities. This year, each of the 40 teams competing in The 48 Hour Film Project picked a genre out of a hat. The choices included horror, coming-of-age, comedy, mockumentary and nearly a thousand others. No matter the genre, each film was required to share a common character, line of dialogue and prop.
